Classification of boxing

1. Professional Boxing

A type of boxing match. That is, a boxer accepts a dowry from a professional boxing club to engage in commercial boxing. Or entrusting a broker to manage his career is a manifestation of the commodification of boxing. Professional boxers must be at least eighteen years old.

Glove weight: 171 grams below 60kg, 143 grams above 60kg.

The rules of the game are three minutes per round, with a one-minute rest in between. There are six rounds for the novice, eight to ten rounds for the second-level boxer, and ten to twelve rounds for the first-level boxer. The difference between professional boxing and amateur boxing or Olympic boxing is that professional boxing is not allowed to wear armor and is more ornamental. And professional boxers are not allowed to participate in the Olympics.
